Deposits & Payments:

Posted room rates do not include a 7% sales tax or a 5% lodging tax. Rates are double occupancy and include a full breakfast per person.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation and is charged to the Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card you provide. The remaining balance is due on the day of check-in and will be charged to the card on file unless other payment arrangements have been made.

We do not charge a higher rate for special events or seasonal holidays or require a minimum number of nights’ stay.

Room Occupancy:

Only two guests per room. St Valentines room can accommodate a third guest using the couch in the sitting room. There is $35 fee for the additional guest.

Check-In & Check-Out Policy:

Check-In time is between the hours of 3pm and 6pm.

Checkout time is any time before 11am.

We realize that disruptions to travel plans can occur and we will do our best to be accommodating. Please call if your arrival falls outside the 3pm to 6pm window.

Cancellation:

If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required 14 days in advance of your arrival date. You will be refunded your deposit, minus a $25 cancellation fee.

If you cancel your reservation 13 days or less prior to arrival date, you are responsible for the entire cost of your reservation. Your credit card on file will be charged in full, unless the room(s) rebook. If rooms do rebook, you will be refunded the difference, minus a $25 cancellation fee.

The cancellation fee also applies to changes in your arrival/departure date which result in a shorter stay. No refunds are provided for late arrivals or early departures.

If your plans are tentative, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Please understand we are a small bed and breakfast and our primary goal is to have our guests stay as scheduled. When a reservation is canceled, it greatly affects our small business. When a reservation is made, we guarantee your room will not be booked by another party. That room is removed from our available inventory and we lose the opportunity to offer it to others.

Children:

Our home is not childproof, no children under the age of 13 are permitted.

Pets:

No pets are allowed. We have 6 cats, while not allowed in the guest rooms, they do roam about the house. Please take this into consideration should you have allergies.

Smoking/open flames

Smoking is not allowed in the house, and candles and incense are not allowed in the rooms. We have flameless candles available for mood lighting should you desire.

Dietary preferences:

With advanced notice we can accommodate most dietary requirements or preferences. Please let us know if you have an aversion to certain foods or beverages.

Accessibility:

All of our rooms are located on the second floor, we are not able to accommodate those with mobility challenges.

At The Olde Rectory Bed and Breakfast, we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personally identifiable information. Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at The Olde Rectory Bed and Breakfast. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. The Olde Rectory Bed and Breakfast does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site. We sometimes use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A “cookie” is a small file that gets placed on your hard drive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose to. At The Olde Rectory Bed and Breakfast, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation, we use every precaution to safe guard it online and offline. Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Policy Modifications:

The Olde Rectory Bed and Breakfast may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
